Additional Information

Alternative name Mas-related G-protein coupled receptor member F (MRGPRF) (3d cytoplasmic loop)
Swiss-Prot P23749
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the 3d cytoplasmic loop of human Mas-related G-protein coupled receptor member F (MRGPRF) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in mouse and rat.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: Orphan receptor. May bind to a neuropeptide and may regulate nociceptor function and/or development, including the sensation or modulation of pain. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Gut, vas deferens, uterus and aorta; barely detectable in liver, kidney, lung, and salivary gland. In the brain, markedly abundant in the cerebellum. Also known as: Mas-related G-protein coupled receptor, member F, Mas-related gene F protein, G-protein coupled receptor RTA, Mrgf, Rta, GPR140, GPR168, MGC21621, G-protein coupled receptor 140, G-protein coupled receptor 168.
Specificity Appears to be specific for MRGPRF.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Restrictions For Research Use only
