Additional Information

UniProt Q8R0W6
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal (cytoplasmic) domain of mouse NEDD4 WW domain binding protein 5 (Ndfip1, NFIP1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen shares 96% identity with human and rat Ndfip1.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: May play a role in Golgi structure maintenance. SUBUNIT: Interacts with NEDD4. Interacts in vitro with NEDD4L, SR140, WWP2 and ITCH. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Golgi apparatus membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Widely expressed. Also known as: NEDD4 family-interacting protein 1, Ndfip1, N4wbp5, NFIP1.
Specificity Appears to be specific for Ndfip1.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1: 500 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Purity whole serum
Purification The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
