Additional Information
| Alternative name | Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 35 (VPS35) |
| UniProt | Q96QK1 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal human Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 35 (Vesicle protein sorting 35, VPS35, MEM3) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in rat, mouse. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Description | FUNCTION: Essential component of the retromer complex, a complex required to retrieve lysosomal enzyme receptors (IGF2R and M6PR) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Also required to regulate transcytosis of the polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (pIgR-pIgA). SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cytoplasm. Membrane; Peripheral membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Ubiquitous. Highly expressed in heart, brain, placenta, skeletal muscle, spleen, thymus, testis, ovary, small intestine, kidney and colon. Also known as: Vesicle protein sorting 35, Maternal-embryonic 3, VPS35, MEM3. |
| Specificity | Appears to be specific for VPS35. |
| Synonyms | Mem3, MEM3, FLJ10752, FLJ13588, FLJ20388, DKFZp434E1211, DKFZp434P1672, VPS35, MGC128544, 23.m05999, DKFZp459E1510, 7B4, CD144, FLJ17376, CG5625, DmelCG5625, Dvps35, vps35, AI647796, MGC81959, bZ34G2.3, MGC136268, MGC162844, wu:fa66e03, wu:fb95c08, zgc:136268, si:rp71-34g2.3 |
Application Details
| Application Notes | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not tested in other applications. |
| Purity | whole serum |
| Storage | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
