Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the n-terminal human Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 35 (Vesicle protein sorting 35, VPS35, MEM3) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in rat, mouse.
Specificity Appears to be specific for VPS35.
Purity whole serum
Alternative Name Vacuolar protein sorting-associated protein 35 (VPS35)
Background Function: Essential component of the retromer complex, a complex required to retrieve lysosomal enzyme receptors (IGF2R and M6PR) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Also required to regulate transcytosis of the polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (pIgR-pIgA).
Subcellular location: Cytoplasm. Membrane, Peripheral membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Ubiquitous. Highly expressed in heart, brain, placenta, skeletal muscle, spleen, thymus, testis, ovary, small intestine, kidney and colon. Also known as: Vesicle protein sorting 35, Maternal-embryonic 3, VPS35, MEM3.
UniProt Q96QK1
Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not tested in other applications.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Storage -20 °C
