Additional Information

Alternative name olfactory receptor (MOR276-1, Olfr56, ORL436, G7)
Swiss-Prot Q8VGD6
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from mouse olfactory receptor family 276, subfamily 1 (MOR276-1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Description Olfactory receptors interact with odorant molecules in the nose, to initiate a neuronal response that triggers the perception of a smell. Theolfactory receptor proteins are members of a large family of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) arising from single coding-exon genes.olfactory receptors share a 7-transmembrane domain structure with many neurotransmitter and hormone receptors and are responsible for the recognition and G protein-mediated transduction of odorant signals. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein Known ligands LIMONENE<||a href="http://www.enzim.hu/hmmtop1.1/server/submit.html"><||/a> Also known as:olfactory receptor Olfr56, ORL436, G7. GENE NAME: Olfr56.
Specificity Appears to be specific for MOR276-1.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Restrictions For Research Use only
