Additional Information

Alternative name olfactory receptor (OR2T5, OR1-62 and OR2T29)
Swiss-Prot Q6IEZ7
Immunogen A synthetic peptide as a part of human olfactory receptor (OR2T5, OR1-62 and OR2T29) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Description Olfactory receptors interact with odorant molecules in the nose, to initiate a neuronal response that triggers the perception of a smell. Theolfactory receptor proteins are members of a large family of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR) arising from single coding-exon genes.olfactory receptors share a 7-transmembrane domain structure with many neurotransmitter and hormone receptors and are responsible for the recognition and G protein-mediated transduction of odorant signals. Theolfactory receptor gene family is the largest in the genome. FUNCTION: Odorant receptor SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Specificity Appears to be specific for olfactory receptors OR2T5 and OR2T29.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 200 to 1 : 3000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
