A synthetic peptide from the cytoplasmic domain of human P2X2 (P2RX2, P2X purinoceptor 2, Purinergic receptor, ATP receptor) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
A concentration of 10-50 mg/ml is recommended. The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Restrictions
For Research Use only
Format
Lyophilized
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice
Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Storage
4 °C/-20 °C
Storage Comment
Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Target
P2RX2
(Purinergic Receptor P2X, Ligand Gated Ion Channel 2 (P2RX2))
Function: Binding of this ligand gated ion channel to ATP mediates synaptic transmission between neurons and from neurons to smooth muscle. Subcellular location: Membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein. Tissue specificity: High levels in pituitary and vas deferens. Lower extent in spinal cord, bladder, brain, adrenal, testis, sensory epithelia from the inner ear. Also known as: P2RX2, P2X purinoceptor 2, Purinergic receptor, ATP receptor.
