Application Notes: IHC, WB. A concentration of 10-50 μg,ml is recommended. The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user. This antibody may also recognise the unphosphorylated form. Not yet tested in other applications.

Phosphorylates EIF4EBP1, required for initiation of translation. Phosphorylates microtubule-associated protein 2 (MAP2). Phosphorylates SPZ1. Phosphorylates heat shock factor protein 4 (HSF4). CATALYTIC ACTIVITY: ATP + a protein = ADP + a phosphoprotein. COFACTOR: Magnesium. ENZYME REGULATION: Activated by tyrosine phosphorylation in response to insulin and NGF.
