Immunogen
A synthetic peptide from the 4th extracellular domain of mouse Polycystic kidney disease protein 1-like 3 (PKD1L3, PK1L3, Polycystin-1L3) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.

Description
FUNCTION: May function as an ion-channel regulator. May function with PKD2L1 as heteromeric taste channels. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Highly expressed in placenta, weakly in heart and lung. Also known as: PKD1L3, PK1L3, Polycystin-1L3, PC1-like 3 protein.
Specificity
Appears to be specific for PKD1L3.
Application Notes
IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
