Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal region of human Pr3 (Leukocyte proteinase 3, AGP7, Myeloblastin, Wegener autoantigen) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Specificity Specific for TrkB.
Purity whole serum
Alternative Name Pr3 (Wegener autoantigen)
Background Function: Polymorphonuclear leukocyte serine protease that degrades elastin, fibronectin, laminin, vitronectin, and collagen types I, III, and IV (in vitro) and causes emphysema when administered by tracheal insufflation to s.
Catalytic activity: Hydrolysis of proteins, including elastin, by preferential cleavage: -Ala-|-Xaa- > -Val-|-Xaa-.Also known as: Leukocyte proteinase 3, AGP7, Myeloblastin, Wegener autoantigen, PR-3, P29, C-ANCA antigen, Neutrophil proteinase 4, MBN, PRTN3, NP-4.
UniProt P15209
Research Area Cancer
Application Notes A dilution of 1: 200 to 1: 1000 is recommended.
The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Storage -20 °C
Storage Comment Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20 °C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8 °C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability.
Expiry Date 12 months

Human PBMC were isolated and adjusted to 106 cells mL-1. Cells were fixed with 2% formaldehyde for 10 minutes at 37°C. Washed twice with PBS before cytospin the cells onto microscope slides. Cells were blocked with PBS containing 1%BSA for 20 minutes at room temperature (RT). Excess of blocking solution was removed and cells were then incubated with Rabbit antibody to c-terminal region of Pr3 (Wegener autoantigen): whole serum (ABIN350763) for 30 min at RT (diluted 1:100 in the blocking buffer). Washed 3X with PBS and incubated with anti-Rabbit Alexa 586 for further 30 minutes. Washed as before and nuclear counterstained with DAPI. Neutrophils and Monocytes, known to have PR3 are intensely stained by the Rabbit antibody to c-terminal region of Pr3 (Wegener autoantigen): whole serum (ABIN350763).
