Additional Information

Alternative name Ras-related protein Rab-5B (RAB5B)
UniProt P61020
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the internal part of human Ras-related protein Rab-5B (RAB5B) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein has been used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in mouse and shares 98% identity with rat.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: Protein transport. Probably involved in vesicular traffic. ENZYME REGULATION: Regulated by guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) which promote the exchange of bound GDP for free GTP. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Lipid-anchor; Cytoplasmic side. Early endosome membrane; Lipid-anchor. Melanosome. Note: Enriched in stage I melanosomes. Also known as: RAB5B.
Specificity Appears to be specific for RAB5B.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. Use at a dilution of 1:300 to 1: 2000. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Restrictions For Research Use only
