Immunogen Synthetic peptides (dimer) from human Rho related GTP binding protein Rho6 (RND1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Specificity Specific for RND1.

Alternative Name Rho6 (RND1 Antibody Abstract)
Background Function: Lacks intrinsic GTPase activity. Has a low affinity for GDP, and constitutively binds GTP. Controls rearrangements of the actin cytoskeleton. Induces the Rac-dependent neuritic process formation in part by disruption of the cortical actin filaments. Causes the formation of many neuritic processes from the cell body with disruption of the cortical actin filaments.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane, Lipid-anchor, Cytoplasmic side. Cytoplasm › cytoskeleton.
Tissue specificity: Mostly expressed in brain and liver. Also known as: Rho family GTPase 1, RND1, RHO6.
Application Notes A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended.
The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Not yet tested in other applications.

Reconstitution Reconstitute in 500 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Storage Comment Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
