Additional Information

Alternative name Runt-related transcription factor 3 (Runx3) (internal part)
Swiss-Prot Q91ZK1
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the internal part of rat Runt-related transcription factor 3 (Runx3) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in mouse.
Format Lyophilized
Isotype IgG  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Description FUNCTION: Binds to the core site of murine Leukemia virus, the core sequences in the enhancer of the polyomavirus, and also to the enhancers of the T-cell receptor genes. May be involved in the control of cellular proliferation and/or differentiation. SUBUNIT: Heterodimer of an alpha and a beta subunit. The alpha subunit binds DNA as a monomer and through the Runt domain. DNA-binding is increased by heterodimerization. Interacts with TLE1 and SUV39H1. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Nucleus. Also known as: Runx3, Core-binding factor, alpha 3 subunit, CBF-alpha 3, Acute myeloid leukemia 2 protein, Oncogene AML-2, Polyomavirus enhancer-binding protein 2 alpha C subunit, PEBP2-alpha C, PEA2-alpha C, SL3-3 enhancer factor 1 alpha C subunit, SL3/AKV core-binding factor alpha C subunit.
Specificity Appears to be specific for Runx3.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A concentration of 10-50 µg/ml is recommended. The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user. ot yet tested in other applications.
Purity IgG
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Restrictions For Research Use only
