Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the c-terminal of human Sorting nexin 2 (Nexin-2, SNX2, TRG9) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in rat and mouse.
Specificity Appears to be specific for Sorting nexin 2.

Background Function: May be involved in several stages of intracellular trafficking. Component of the retromer complex, a complex required to retrieve lysosomal enzyme receptors (IGF2R and M6PR) from endosomes to the trans-Golgi network. Also known as: Nexin-2, SNX2, Transformation-related gene 9 protein, TRG-9, TRG9.

Application Notes IHC, WB (confirmed by recombinant protein). A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not tested in other applications.
