Additional Information
| Alternative name | Syntaxin-7 (STX7, Syn7,Syntaxin 7) |
| Swiss-Prot | O15400 |
| Immunogen | A synthetic peptide as a part of human Syntaxin-7 (STX7, Syn7, Syntaxin 7) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. |
| Format | Lyophilized |
| Description | FUNCTION: May be involved in protein trafficking from the plasma membrane to the early endosome (EE) as well as in homotypic fusion of endocytic organelles. Mediates the endocytic trafficking from early endosomes to late endosomes and lysosomes. SUBUNIT: Forms a SNARE complex with VTI1B, STX8 and VAMP8 which functions in the homotypic fusion of late endosomes. Interacts with VPS33A. Found in a complex with VAMP8 and VTI1B in the liver. Part of the SNARE core complex containing VAMP8, STX8 and VTI1B. Interacts with VPS11, VPS16 and VPS18. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Early endosome membrane; Single-pass type IV membrane protein. Also known as: Syntaxin-7, STX7, Syn7. |
| Specificity | Appears to be specific for Syntaxin-7. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications. |
| Purity | whole serum |
| Storage | Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles. |
