Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the internal part of human Syntaxin-binding protein 1 (STXB1, p67, N-Sec1, Unc-18A, Unc-18-1, rbSec1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide is homologous in rat, mouse, chicken and monke
Specificity Specific for DRAM.
Purity IgG
Alternative Name Syntaxin-Binding Protein 1 (STXB1, Unc-18A)
Background Function: May participate in the regulation of synaptic vesicle docking and fusion, possibly through interaction with GTP-binding proteins. Essential for neurotransmission and binds syntaxin, a component of the synaptic vesicle fusion machinery probably in a 1:1 ratio. Can interact with syntaxins 1, 2, and 3 but not syntaxin 4. May play a role in determining the specificity of intracellular fusion reactions. Also known as: STXB1, p67, N-Sec1, Unc-18A, Unc-18-1, rbSec1.
UniProt Q8N682
Research Area Cancer, Autophagy, Cell Cycle, Apoptosis/Necrosis
Application Notes A concentration of 10-50 µg/mL is recommended.
The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute in 150 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Storage -20 °C
Storage Comment Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20 °C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8 °C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability.
Expiry Date 12 months
