Immunogen A synthetic peptide from mouse TAS1R2 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.

Background Function: Putative taste receptor. TAS1R2/TAS1R3 recognizes diverse natural and synthetic sweeteners.
Subunit: Forms heterodimers with TAS1R3.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein.
Tissue specificity: Expressed mainly in circumvallate and foliate taste papillae.Also known as: Taste receptor type 1 member 2, sweet taste receptor T1R2, G-protein coupled receptor 71, Tas1r2, Gpr71, T1r2, Tr2, TS1R2.
Application Notes A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended.
The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Not yet tested in other applications.

Reconstitution Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Storage Comment Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
