Immunogen A synthetic peptide from human T-lymphoma invasion and metastasis-inducing protein 1 (TIAM-1, TIAM1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.

Specificity Specific for TIAM1.
Alternative Name TIAM 1 (TIAM1 Antibody Abstract)
Background Function: Modulates the activity of RHO-like proteins and connects extracellular signals to cytoskeletal activities. Acts as a GDP-dissociation stimulator protein that stimulates the GDP-GTP exchange activity of RHO-like GTPases and activates them. Activates RAC1, CDC42, and to a lesser extent RHOA.
Subunit: Interacts with BAIAP2.
Tissue specificity: Found in virtually all analyzed tumor cell lines including B- and T-lymphomas, neuroblastomas, melanomas and carcinomas. Also known as: TIAM-1, TIAM1.
Application Notes A concentration of 10-50 µg/ml is recommended.
The optimal concentration should be determined by the end user.

Reconstitution Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
Handling Advice Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.

Storage Comment Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
