Additional Information

Alternative name trace amine-associated receptor 2 (TAAR2)
UniProt Q9P1P5
Immunogen A synthetic peptide as a part of human TAAR2 conjugated to immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: Orphan receptor. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Not expressed in the pons, thalamus, hypothalamus, hippocampus, caudate, putamen, frontal cortex, basal forebrain, midbrain or liver. Also known as:trace amine-associated receptor 2, TAAR2, GPR58.
Specificity Appears to be specific for TAAR2.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
