Additional Information

Immunogen A synthetic peptide from mouse TAAR7a, b, e, f conjugated to an immunugenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The sequence is homologous with rat TAAR7a, b, c, e, g, h.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: Orphan receptor. Could be a receptor fortrace amines.trace amines are biogenic amines present in very low levels in mammalian tissues. Although sometrace amines have clearly defined roles as neurotransmitters in invertebrates, the extent to which they function as true neurotransmitters in vertebrates has remained speculative.trace amines are likely to be involved in a variety of physiological functions that have yet to be fully understood. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as:trace amine-associated receptor 7a, Taar7a,trace amine-associated receptor 7b, Taar7b,trace amine-associated receptor 7e, Taar7e,trace amine-associated receptor 7f, Taar7f,trace amine receptor 8, TaR-8, Ta8, Tar8, Trar8,trace amine receptor 12, TaR-12, Ta12, Tar12, Trar12,trace amine-associated receptor 7c, Taar7c,trace amine-associated receptor 7e,trace amine receptor 14, TaR-14, Taar7e, Ta14, Tar14, Trar14,trace amine-associated receptor 7g,trace amine receptor 9, TaR-9, Taar7g, Ta9, Tar9, Trar9,trace amine-associated receptor 7h,trace amine receptor 6, TaR-6, Taar7h, Ta6, Tar6, Trar6, Gm229.
Specificity Appears to be specific for TAAR7.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Restrictions For Research Use only
