Immunogen A synthetic peptide from mouse TAAR7D conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen.
Specificity Highly specific for mature olfactory neurons (including axon and terminals).
Purification whole serum
Background Function: Orphan receptor. Could be a receptor fortrace amines.trace amines are biogenic amines present in very low levels in mammalian tissues. Although sometrace amines have clearly defined roles as neurotransmitters in invertebrates, the extent to which they function as true neurotransmitters in vertebrates has remained speculative.trace amines are likely to be involved in a variety of physiological functions that have yet to be fully understood.
Subcellular location: Cell membrane, Multi-pass membrane protein. Also known as: Taar7d, TAAR7D.
UniProt Q64288
Application Notes A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended.
The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Not yet tested in other applications.
