Immunogen
A synthetic peptidefrom rat transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily M, member 1 variant delta (TRPM1) conjugated to immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in mouse, dog and monkey.

Description
The protein encoded by this gene is similar to the transient receptor potential (TRP) calcium channel family members. The expression of this protein is inversely correlated with melanoma aggressiveness, suggesting that it suppresses melanoma metastasis. Also known as: Transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily M, member 1 variant delta1066-1071, Trpm1, LTRPC1, MLSN1, transient receptor potential cation channel, subfamily M, member 1 variant Trpm1delta189-1078, melastatin.
Specificity
Appears to be specific for TRPM1.
Application Notes
IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user. Not yet tested in other applications.
