Additional Information

Alternative name V5 tag (V5 epitope tag)
Swiss-Prot P11207
Immunogen Synthetic peptide {GKPIPNPLLGLDST (95-108)} from Simian virus 5 (strain W3) (SV5) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Description Epitope tag commonly fused with the protein of interest and expressed as a single chain. Also known as: V5 epitope tag, V5 tag, Protein Rev antibody, GKPIPNPLLGLDST epitope tag, Non-structural protein V, Simian virus 5 (strain W3) SV5.
Specificity Appears to be specific for V5 (GKPIPNPLLGLDST).

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 2000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
