Immunogen A synthetic peptide as a part of rat vomeronasal type-1 receptor A1, A13, A14 (VN1A1, Vnr1, V1A13, V1ra13, V1A14, V1ra14) conjugated to immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Description Putative pheromone receptor; may play a role inolfactory sensory perception. FUNCTION: Putative pheromone receptor implicated in the regulation of social as well as reproductive behavior. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in 1-4% of neurons of thevomeronasal organ. Only one pheromone receptor gene may be expressed in a particular neuron. Not expressed in the mainolfactory epithelium.
