Swiss-Prot Q9EQ52
Immunogen A synthetic peptide as a part of mouse vomeronasal type-1 receptor A3 & A4 (VN1A3, V1ra3, V1ra6, V1RA1, V1RA3, VN1A4, VN3, V1ra4, V1ra7) conjugated to immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen.
Format Lyophilized
Description FUNCTION: Putative pheromone receptor implicated in the regulation of social and reproductive behavior. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. MISCELLANEOUS: Mice lacking all but one V1RA and V1RB gene (12% of the V1R repertoire) show a lack of chemosensory response to a subset of known pheromonal ligands and changes in maternal aggression as well as male reproductive behavior. Specificity Appears to be specific for V1RA3 and V1RA4.

Application Details

Application Notes IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 300 to 1 : 3000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Purity whole serum
Storage Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20°C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
