Immunogen This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the central region of human PAD4.
Specificity This antibody is specific to PAD4 (Center).
Purification Protein G Chromatography, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Alternative Name PADI4
Background PAD4 is a member of a family of enzymes responsible for the conversion of arginine residues to citrulline residues. This gene may play a role in granulocyte and macrophage development leading to inflammation and immune response.
Alternate names: HL-60 PAD, PAD4, PADI-H, PADI5, PDI4, PDI5, Peptidylarginine deiminase IV, Protein- arginine deiminase type IV, Protein-arginine deiminase type-4
Gene ID 23569
NCBI Accession NP_036519
UniProt Q9UM07
Application Notes ELISA: 1/1,000. Western blot: 1/100~1/500. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
