Immunogen Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pTyr694 (D-G-Y (p) -V-K) derived from Human STAT5A. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
Isotype IgG
Specificity The antibody detects endogenous level of STAT5A only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 694.
Purification The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removed by chromatography using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Alternative Name STAT5A (STAT5A Antibody Abstract)
Background Carries out a dual function: signal transduction and activation of transcription. Binds to the GAS element and activates PRL-induced transcription.
Molecular Weight 90 kDa
NCBI Accession NP_003143
UniProt P42229
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling, Transcription Factors, Signaling, Receptors, Inflammation
Pathways JAK-STAT Signaling, RTK Signaling
