Specificity

The antibody detects endogenous level of VEGFR2 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 1214.

Purification

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography usingepitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide was removedby chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.

Immunogen

Peptide sequence around phosphorylation site of pTyr1214 (F-H-Y (p) -D-N) derived from Human VEGFR2. Antibodies were produced by immunizing rabbits with synthetic phosphopeptide and KLH conjugates.
