| Description | CD4, a single chain transmembrane glycoprotein, is found on a T cell subset(helper/inducer) representing 45% of peripheral blood lymphocytes. CD4 is also presenton 80% of thymocytes and at a lower level on monocytes. CD4 is involved in recognition ofantigen presented along with MHC class II by APCs. It serves as receptor for HIV. |
| Specificity | This antibody reacts to CD4. Cellular Localization: Membrane. Species: Human. Others not tested. Add. Information: Molecular Weight: 59kDa |
