Description
LSP1 is a 52kD leukocyte-specific protein expressed in B cells, T cells, macrophages andneutrophils. The protein binds F-actin through its carboxy-terminal actin-binding repeatand regulates cytoskeletal-related cellular movement such as polarization, chemotaxisand locomotion. LSP1 is a phospho-protein and has been identified as a major substrate ofMAP kinase and PKC in lymphocytes and neutrophils. The phosphorylation is possiblyrelated to its cytoskeletal regulation function.
Specificity
This antibody detects endogenous levels of LSP1 protein independent of phosphorylation. Species Reactivity: Tested: Human.
