Immunogen
A synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminus of human XRCC3.
Description
XRCC3 (X-Ray Cross Complementing 3) is essential for repairing the double srand DNAbreaks by homologous recombination between sister chromatids. It is homologous toRad51. Five human homologues of RAD 51, XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, RAD51D,interact among themselves to form one big complex or several smaller complexes.
Specificity
This antibody reacts to XRCC3. Species: Human. Others not tested.
Application Notes
Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: 1/50 for 10 min at RT, Staining offormalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Positive Control: TestisOther applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
