Immunogen This CDH9 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 701-729 AA from the C-terminal region of human CDH9.
Clone RB13734
Isotype Ig
Specificity This CDH9 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 708~737 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CDH9.
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Name CDH9
Background CDH9 is a type II classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily, integral membrane proteins that mediate calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion. Mature cadherin proteins are composed of a large N-terminal extracellular domain, a single membrane-spanning domain, and a small, highly conserved C-terminal cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular domain consists of 5 subdomains, each containing a cadherin motif, and appears to determine the specificity of the protein's homophilic cell adhesion activity. Type II (atypical) cadherins are defined based on their lack of a HAV cell adhesion recognition sequence specific to type I cadherins.

anti-Cadherin 9 (CDH9) (C-Term), (AA 701-729) antibody Western blot analysis of CDH9 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal CDH9 Antibody (C-term) (ABIN388203). 293 cell lysates (2 µg/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the CDH9 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).
anti-Cadherin 9 (CDH9) (C-Term), (AA 701-729) antibody (2) Flow cytometric analysis of MCF-7 cells using CDH9 Antibody (C-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
