Additional Information
| Alternative name | Nac1 (BTBD14B) |
| Gene ID | 112939 |
| UniProt | Q96RE7 |
| Immunogen | This BTBD14B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 414~444 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human BTBD14B. |
| Isotype | Ig |
| Description | Other names: BTB/POZ domain-containing protein 14B, Nucleus accumbens-1, NAC1 |
| Characteristics | Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Pab) |
| Specificity | This BTBD14B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 414~444 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human BTBD14B. |
| Molecular Weight | 57258 DA |
| Comments |
Background: BTBD14B functions as a transcriptional corepressor in neuronal cells through recruitment of HDAC3 and HDAC4. In humans the protein is upregulated in a number of carcinomas and is localized in discrete nuclear bodies that correlate with tumour recurrence. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | The suggested dilution is: ELISA ~~ 1:1,000 Western blotting~~ 1:50:100 |
| Concentration | 0.25 mg/ml |
| Purification | Purified |
| Buffer | Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS. |
| Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 deg C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 deg C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles |
| Research Area | Stem Cells, Cancer, Transcription Factors, Signaling, Neurology, Cell Structure |
| Restrictions | For Research Use only |
