Immunogen This KRT19 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 336-365 AA from the C-terminal region of human KRT19.
Clone RB19452
Isotype Ig
Specificity This KRT19 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide between 343~373 amino acids surrounding S46 of human KRT19.
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Name KRT19 (KRT19 Antibody Abstract)
Background KRT19 is a member of the keratin family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. The type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains. Unlike its related family members, this smallest known acidic cytokeratin is not paired with a basic cytokeratin in epithelial cells. It is specifically expressed in the periderm, the transiently superficial layer that envelopes the developing epidermis.
