Background: The pyruvate dehydrogenase complex catalyzes the overall conversion of pyruvate to acetyl-CoA and CO2. It contains multiple copies of three enzymatic components: pyruvate dehydrogenase (E1), dihydrolipoamide acetyltransferase (E2) and lipoamide dehydrogenase (E3).

Western blot analysis of PDHB Antibody (N-term) (ABIN389463) in A375, HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). PDHB (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with PDHB Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry. clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
