Comments:

Background: ASK is a regulatory subunit for CDC7 which activates its kinase activity thereby playing a central role in DNA replication and cell proliferation. It is required for progression of S phase. The complex CDC7-DBF4A selectively phosphorylates MCM2 subunit at 'Ser-40' and 'Ser-53' and then is involved in regulating the initiation of DNA replication during cell cycle.

Western blot analysis of anti-ASK Pab (ABIN391465) in HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). ASK(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab (1:60 dilution).

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human testis tissue reacted with ASK antibody (N-term) (ABIN391450), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry. clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
