Comments

Background: CDK1 is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. This protein is a catalytic subunit of the highly conserved protein kinase complex known as M-phase promoting factor (MPF), which is essential for G1/S and G2/M phase transitions of eukaryotic cell cycle. Mitotic cyclins stably associate with this protein and function as regulatory subunits. The kinase activity of this protein is controlled by cyclin accumulation and destruction through the cell cycle. The phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of this protein also play important regulatory roles in cell cycle control. Transcript Variant: This variant (1) encodes the full length isoform.

Application Details

Application Notes The suggested dilution is: ELISA ~~ 1:1,000 Western blotting~~ 1:50~100
Concentration 0.25 mg/ml
Purification Purified
Buffer Purified rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 deg C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 deg C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Research Area Phospho-specific antibodies, Protein Modifications, Cell Cycle, Cell Structure
Restrictions For Research Use only
