Isotype Ig
Description Other names: Receptor-interacting serine/threonine protein kinase 2, Serine/threonine protein kinase RIP, Cell death protein RIP, Receptor interacting protein, RIP
Characteristics Purified Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (Pab)
Specificity This RIPK1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 585~671 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human RIPK1.
Molecular Weight 75958 DA
Comments

Background: RIPK1 is a serine/threonine kinase that promotes apoptosis and activation of NF-kappa-B. This protein is required for TNFRSF1A mediated activation of NF-kappa-B. It is proteolytically cleaved by caspase-8 during TNF-induced apoptosis. Cleavage abolishes NF-kappa-B activation and enhances pro-apototic signaling through the TRADD-FADD interaction.

Application Details

Application Notes The suggested dilution is: ELISA~~1:1,000 Immunohistochemistry~~1:50~100 Dot Blot ~~ 1:500 Western Blot~~ 1:250~500
Concentration 0.25 mg/ml
Purification Purified
Buffer Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Storage Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 deg C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 deg C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Research Area Apoptosis/Necrosis, Phospho-specific antibodies, Cell Signaling, Protein Modifications, Cell Structure
Restrictions For Research Use only
