| Comments |
Background: TESK2 is a dual specificity protein kinase activity catalyzing autophosphorylation and phosphorylation of exogenous substrates on both serine/threonine and tyrosine residues. TESK2 phosphorylates cofilin at Ser-3. It may play an important role in spermatogenesis. This nuclear enzyme is thought to be activated by autophosphorylation on Ser-219. Expression is predominantly in testis and prostate, with highest concentrations in nongerminal Sertoli cells. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | The suggested dilution is: ELISA~~1:1,000 Western blotting~~1:100~500 Immunohistochemistry~~1:50~100 |
| Concentration | 0.25 mg/ml |
| Purification | Purified |
| Buffer | Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS. |
| Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 deg C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 deg C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles |
| Research Area | Apoptosis/Necrosis, Phospho-specific antibodies, Cell Signaling, Protein Modifications, Cell Structure |
