Clone RB16827
Isotype Ig
Specificity This ALDH1L1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 724~754 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human ALDH1L1.
Purification This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Alternative Name ALDH1L1 (ALDH1L1 Antibody Abstract)
Background ALDH1L1 catalyzes the conversion of 10-formyltetrahydrofolate, NADP, and water to tetrahydrofolate, NADPH, and carbon dioxide. The encoded protein belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family and is responsible for formate oxidation in vivo. Deficiencies in this gene can result in an accumulation of formate and subsequent methanol poisoning.
