Clone 4F9
Isotype IgG2a kappa
Specificity DIABLO (AAH11909, 119 a.a. ~ 218 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.
Purification Purified
Alternative Name DIABLO (DIABLO Antibody Abstract)
Background This gene encodes an inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP)-binding protein. The encoded mitochondrial protein enters the cytosol when cells undergo apoptosis, and it moderates the caspase inhibition of IAPs. Multiple polyadenylation sites have been found for this gene. Four alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described for this gene, with two of them encoding different isoforms and the other two probably not encoding a protein.
Synonyms: DIABLOS, FLJ10537, FLJ25049, SMAC, SMAC3 diablo homolog (Drosophila)
Molecular Weight 27131 DA
Gene ID 56616
Research Area Apoptosis/Necrosis, Cell Structure
Pathways Apoptosis, Caspase Cascade in Apoptosis
Application Notes Western blot = 1:500-1000
