Specificity PLTP (AAH05045, 1 a.a. ~ 422 a.a) full length recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.
Alternative Name PLTP (PLTP Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: Serine protease inhibitor J6, 47 kDa heat shock protein, Collagen-binding protein, Colligin, Serpin H1,Hsp47, Cbp1, Serpinh1
Molecular Weight NONE?! DA
Gene ID 12406
Research Area Metabolism, Cell Structure
Application Notes Western blot = 1:500-1000

Background: The protein encoded by this gene is one of at least two lipid transfer proteins found in human plasma. The encoded protein transfers phospholipids from triglyceride-rich lipoproteins to high density lipoprotein (HDL). In addition to regulating the size of HDL particles, this protein may be involved in cholesterol metabolism. At least two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
