Additional Information

Alternative name GnRHR
Format Affinity-purified
Isotype IgG  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone A00086-01
Description Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) is down-regulated by hCG and believed to be an autocrine factor that regulates the ovary. The Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Receptor (GnRHR) is synthesized in the pituitary gland. Activin A has been shown to stimulate the synthesis of GnRHR, illustrating a possible mechanism for the modulation of gonadotropin responsiveness to GnRH.
Specificity Recognize specifically GnRH receptor from human and other species not tested
Synonyms GRHR, LRHR, LHRHR, GNRHR1, GNRHR, LOC443413, Gnrhr, gnrhr, Akhr, AKHR, BEST:GH19447, CG11325, DAKHR, DGRHR, DmelCG11325, GRHR/CG11325, GH1, Lhrhr, CGNRH-R, GNRHR2, GNRHR1/III, xgnrhr, gnrhr3/ii, gnrh-r

Application Details

Application Notes Western blot: 1:1,000Immunohistochemistry: 1:200This antibody reacts with GnRH receptors in the anterior pituitary. GnRH functions as a stimulator of gonadotrophs to release luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).
Concentration 1 mg/ml in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.05% sodium azide, frozen liquid
Purification Immunoaffinity purification
Storage The antibody will remain stable for one year from the date of shipment if stored at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap and avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Aliquots will remain stable for three months if stored at 4°C.
Research Area Neurology, Endocrine system, Hormones
Restrictions For Research Use only
