Description: Ube1L is a member of the E1 ubiquitin-activating enzyme family. It is a retinoid target thattriggers promyelocytic leukemia (PML)/retinoic acid receptor alpha (RARalpha) degradationand apoptosis in acute promyelocytic leukemia. It has been reported that Ube1L acts as theactivating enzyme in the ISG15 conjugation pathway. ISG15 is an ubiquitin-like protein andits transcription is induced by interferon treatment.

Specificity: This antibody reacts to Ubiquitin-activating Enzyme E1 Homolog (UBE1L). Species Reactivity: Tested: Human.

Application Details

Application Notes: Western blot. Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 10 µg/ml. This antibody was validated for use in Immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigenretrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides wereincubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkalinephosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by apathologist to confirm staining specificity. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
