  • Application Notes
    Peptide ELISA: 1/8000. Western blot: Approx 160 kDa band observed in Human Breast Cancer lysates (calculatedMW of 160 kDa according to NP_002947.1. Recommended concentration: 1 - 3 μg/mL. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: Human Thyroid Gland shows structuredcytoplasm staining in active epithelial cells. Recommended concentration: 2 - 4 μg/mL.
    Other applications not tested.
    Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

    Background
    CLIP170 associates with the growing ends of microtubules, a type of behaviour known as 'plus end tracking' that is exhibited by proteins called +TIPS. It is known to bind to CLASPS and IQGAP1, and is thought to play a role as a positive regulator of microtubule dynamics.
