Immunogen Synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human CREBZF
Sequence GLRLTTSLFR DSPAGDHDYA LPVGKQKQDL LEEDDSAGGV CLHVDKDKVS
Predicted Reactivity Bovine : 100 %, Dog : 100 %, Guinea pig : 100 %, Human : 100 %, Mouse : 100 %, Rabbit : 100 %, Rat : 100 %
Characteristics This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against CREBZF. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.
Purification Affinity Purified
Alternative Name CREBZF
Background CREBZF belongs to the bZIP family. It strongly activates transcription when bound to HCFC1. The protein suppresses the expression of HSV proteins in cells infected with the virus in a HCFC1-dependent manner. It also suppresses the HCFC1-dependent transcriptional activation by CREB3 and reduces the amount of CREB3 in the cell. CREBZF is able to down-regulate expression of some cellular genes in CREBZF-expressing cells.
Molecular Weight 37 kDa
Gene ID 58487
NCBI Accession NP_001034707, NM_001039618
UniProt Q9NS37
Application Notes Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
