Immunogen Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal of human MARCH1
Sequence LQASSPTTGT APRSQSRLSV CPSTQDICRI CHCEGDEESP LITPCRCTGT
Predicted Reactivity Mouse :100 %,   Rat :100 %,   Human :100 %,
Characteristics This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against MARCH1. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.
Purification Affinity Purified
Alternative Name MARCH1
Background MARCH1 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that may mediate ubiquitination of TFRC, CD86 and FAS, and promote their subsequent endocytosis and sorting to lysosomes via multivesicular bodies. E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfer the ubiquitin to targeted substrates.
Molecular Weight 31 kDa
Gene ID 55016
NCBI Accession NM_017923, NP_060393
Application Notes Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
