Characteristics This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against PHF12. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control. We strive to provide antibodies covering each member of a whole protein family of your interest.
Purification Affinity Purified
Alternative Name PHF12
Background PHF12 acts as a transcriptional repressor. It is involved in recruitment of functional SIN3A complexes to DNA. PHF12 represses transcription at least in part through the activity of an associated histone deacetylase (HDAC). IT may also repress transcription in a SIN3A-independent manner through recruitment of functional AES complexes to DNA.
