Description: BMPs (bone morphogenetic proteins) belong to the TGF-β superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. As implied by their name, BMPs promote and regulate bone development, growth, remodeling and repair, in both prenatal development and postnatal growth of eye, heart, kidney, skin, and other tissues. BMP-10 is essential for the proper development of the heart, but is not expressed until after cardiac patterning or looping is completed.

Application Notes: Western blot analysis (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. Recombinant human BMP-10 (Cat.# 4581-20) can be used as positive control.
