Description Clock is a basic helix-loop helix (bHLH) transcription factor that regulates circadian rhythms and sleep cycles. Clock contain a DNA-binding domain, a protein dimerization domain that heterodimerizes with BMAL1 and a glutamine-rich C terminus region. Clock dimerization with BMAL helps regulate nuclear translocation and binding of Clock to the E box elements stimulates circadian genes transcription.

Application Notes Western blotting (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes the 100 kDa and the ~62 kDa isoforms of CLOCK in samples from human, mouse and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.
