Additional Information

Characteristics 200 ug affinity purified rabbit anti-NFkB p105 (NFkappaB p105, NFkB 105, NFkB105, NFkappaB 105, NFkappaB 105) polyclonal antibody. Reacts with human/mouse/rat. Detects the 105 kDa NFkB in samples from human, mouse, and rat origins. Tested in Western blot. Other applications have not been determined. Blocking peptide (Cat.# 3897BP-50) is available separately.
Alternative name NFkB p105
Gene ID 4790
Immunogen Synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 955 of human NFkB105
Isotype IgG  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Description NFkB was identified as a sequence specific transcriptional activator that binds to the intronic enhancer of kappa light chain gene in B lymphocytes. NFkB is activated by a wide variety of stimuli such as lipopolysaccharide (LPS), pro-inflammatory cytokines, and viral infection. The active NFkB heterodimer is translocated into the nucleus and induces gene expression.
Specificity The antibody recognizes the 105 kDa NF κ B p105 in samples from human, mouse and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been determined.

Application Details

Application Notes Western blotting (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes the 105 kDa NFB p105 in samples from human, mouse and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been determined.
